Film Analysis- Audio Project (Lord of The Rings)

Looking at examples of where noise effects a person that's insane one of thos that comes to mind is in 'The Lord Of The Rings' perticually the final two films.

Though no one is actually insane in these films, unless you count Denathor as insane, but what catches my eye is the effect the ring has on the protagonist Frodo. In several scenes, when an enemy is near by Frodo would suddenlt have a blank expression on his face, and sometimes sinister expression. During these scenes their would be eiree sounds to establish what the ring is doing to his mind, and how it builds up  to the point he snaps.

An example of what I am talking about is in the image below...

The image has been annotated, to show the line Frodo speeks during this moment, and when he speaks the line in the film, he says it almost inaudibly, and slightly crazy. This visual and audio effect would be good to refference when creating the sound.
